A heritage-listed former bank in Townsville’s CBD will undergo a $10 million makeover.
The heritage-listed former bank is transforming into a 34-room boutique hotel, with a rooftop bar and restaurant, and ground-floor commercial or retail tenancy.
The Old Bank on Flinders Street will blend contemporary design with the building’s historic character, restoring it to its former grandeur while creating new hospitality and entertainment spaces.
With support from Townsville City Council and the Queensland Government, the development is just one of many exciting investments reshaping Townsville’s city centre.
